Where will games be played & Can Parents stay? Can games be observed?

The tournament will be played at Wizards of the Mind Learning Center on 379 Morris Ave in Springfield, NJ. 1st Floor (Main Floor) will be for tournament play. Our 2nd Floor will host parents who'd like to wait during the tournaments and tournament participants that have finished the round early. We encourage parents of small children to stay while it is fine to drop-off. Parents will not be permitted on 1st Floor during tournament games. Please enter through out main entrance (front-door).

Where can I get USCF membership? Where can I look up my membership #, expiration date, and rating? Is USCF membership required?

This is a US Chess Federation (USCF) Rated tournament. It will be required to become a member with USCF to play in any of the USCF rated sections. Please use the following link for details on how to become a member: https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess

If you do not wish to get a USCF membership, please consider our UNRATED section catered for Beginners and Novice level players.

Do I need to bring anything?

We supply all required equipment including: chess boards, pieces, chess clocks, scoresheets, pencils provided.
