Beginner Players are Welcome! No USCF Membership is Required to play in our Unrated Section.

Where will games be played & Can Parents stay? Can games be observed?

The tournament will be played at Wizards of the Mind Learning Center on 379 Morris Ave in Springfield, NJ. 1st Floor (Main Floor) will be for tournament play. Our 2nd Floor will host parents who'd like to wait during the tournaments and tournament participants that have finished the round early. We encourage parents of small children to stay while it is fine to drop-off. Parents will not be permitted on 1st Floor during tournament games. Please enter through out main entrance (front-door).

Where can I get USCF membership? Where can I look up my membership #, expiration date, and rating? Is USCF membership required?

This is a US Chess Federation (USCF) Rated tournament. It will be required to become a member with USCF. Please use the following link for details on how to become a member: https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess

Do I need to bring anything?
