Our History:
Our school was founded in 2001 as a Math and Chess School and has
grown over the years into a full Enrichment Center, where we develop
every child's special interests and talents. Our primary goal is to boost
every child's intellectual ability while improving his/hers academic
performance. Our Math and Chess classes are designed to develop
critical thinking, strategic planning and creative problem solving skills in
our children and our Science, Language, Art and Music classes will bring
them up as well-rounded intelligent individuals. Every child that comes to
us becomes a most valuable part of the Wizards family: family that
promotes friendship, education and desire to learn.

Math: Our Math curriculum is geared towards producing mathematical thinkers. It is divided into Primary Math and Secondary Math. The level of each student is evaluated through a placement test to ensure individual attention and proper placement. We currently run 14 Math classes to accommodate all ages and skill levels.

Primary Math:
Primary Math creates a foundation students will need for more advanced mathematics and
involves acquisition of concept and skills with crucial emphases on understanding the
underlying thinking, the general strategies of problem solving and positive attitudes to and
appreciation of mathematics as an important and powerful tool in everyday life. Please click

Secondary Math:
Secondary Math covers the basics of higher math: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, etc.
In these classes emphasis is placed on the development of better understanding of
mathematical concepts and their applications, as well as on proficiency in problem solving,
mathematical reasoning and higher order thinking. To facilitate this, the curriculum includes
investigative work, communication skills in mathematics, appropriate computation and
estimation skills, mental calculation and, of course, problem solving. Also, every section of
study is followed with the "challenger", which is specially designed to provide interesting and
challenging problems on the particular topic for more able and adventurous students.
We help our students gain confidence and have better insights into the subject, and above
all, we hope that our students will look upon Mathematics as something exciting, rewarding
and useful.
